A landscape architect with a background in architectural history, Sarah is continually inspired by the tension between contemporary and historic spaces. Growing up in Boston's Beacon Hill and now living in downtown Baltimore, she often engages the two typologies, creating residential and civic spaces that have contemporary resonance within historic contexts. Exploring the interplay between natural and urban, plants and pavers, in a method reminiscent of paint on paper, her work exhibits a sensitivity to texture and detail to make places of lasting quality and delight.
